It's right on the banks of the French Broad River next to Carrier Park with the Biltmore property and it's spacious grounds directly across the river. This gives you a mountain retreat vibe super close to the river arts district and downtown. I live in Asheville and I've used it as a "staycation" site and event location several times. The staff is truly world class - we were so amazed at the immediacy in which they responded to every question, request, and often anticipated our needs even before we spoke them! Stefanie and Madi were really really lovely to work with. The conference room and multi-purpose room were perfect settings for all of the sessions the team facilitated, and the team loved all of the personal touches and amenities provided in their cabins and on site. We opted to return to the campfires each night over going out on the town. It meant so much to me to show my team what Asheville is all about, and Wrong Way was such a beautiful representation of that. “Great location with a super friendly & helpful staff. We met 6 couples there for 5 nights each. We were close enough to bike or walk to several attractions. Yet far enough to feel like we were in our own private space. The staff set up tables, lights, & a place for us to BBQ in the “meadow” which yielded a fantastic setting to dine under the October moon. The cabins are lovely and welcoming, the meeting/event space was great, and Shelton and the staff couldn't have been more hospitable. Clean, comfortable and adorable A-frame cabins with such a nostalgic feel and perfect place to disconnect while being close to everything Asheville has to offer.
